Litchfield Beach iPhone Photos
It’s been almost a month since I have added anything to the blog. We were in Litchfield Beach for two weeks, and then I have been pretty busy after two weeks off. Anyway, here are some photos I shot and processed with the iPhone while in Litchfield.

Litchfield Beach – iPhone Photos
We just got back from Litchfield Beach late this afternoon. Here are some photos I shot while there with the iPhone. All of the photos were also post-processed on the iPhone.

Litchfield Beach – iPhone Photos
Mattie and I just returned from a few days of R&R in Litchfield Beach. I haven’t looked at anything I shot with the Olympus E-P1, but here are a few I shot with my iPhone.
The iPhone is just plain old fun to shoot with. I used the PS Mobile (Photoshop) app to process the photos. All the photos were processed with the iPhone. The only other thing I did to them was downsize for the web.

Lucy Scores – iPhone Photo
I took Lucy and Leo out this afternoon before I left for a shoot at the studio. I was standing on the deck checking out twitter on my iPhone when I saw Lucy walking towards the basketball goal below me. I waited for her to walk under the basket and “click”. I’d score that photo a two. Sorry, I had to do that.
By the way, the backboard is broken from one of my dunks.

Purple and Pink Chickens – iPhone Photos
Saw something I had never seen before yesterday. Thought I would share.

Litchfield Beach – iPhone Photos
If you have been visiting the blog or follow me on Twitter, you are aware I have been at Litchfield Beach for the past two weeks. We just came home today.
Mattie, AJ and I love Litchfield. Mattie and I spent two weeks reading, sleeping and eating. That’s pretty much it besides sitting on the beach or jumping into the pool.
I read five books this year. The books were Magnificent Desolation by Buzz Aldrin, The Best Game Ever by Mark Bowden, Dog On It by Spencer Quinn, Common Sense by Glenn Beck, and Storm Chaser by Jim Reed. OK I know Storm Chaser is mostly photographs, but I am counting it. I also started Rocket Men by Craig Nelson, but haven’t finished it.
Several years ago, I started using our summer vacation as a personal photo project by photographing at Litchfield Beach. Each year, I try to take a new piece of photographic gear to try out and to do something a little different.
This year, I wanted to get the new Olympus E-P1 to use. It’s a digital camera that takes interchangeable lens, but is really small, does not have a mirror in it and no viewfinder. In fact, it’s smaller than my Leica film camera. It would have been perfect. Alas, it wasn’t to be because they are still really hard to get because it is so new.
I took my regular battery of Olympus digital SLR’s and a couple of Konica film bodies. What did I end of using most of the time? My iPhone. The iPhone became my new photographic tool for this trip.
I downloaded several iPhone apps to help with the process including CameraBag, PhotoBox, Genius, iFlashReady and CameraKit. I used the apps to do a little post processing on the photos right on the iPhone. The following several posts include some of my favorites from the trip. All of the photos were shot and processed with the iPhone.
